The California Youth Service Corps program is for youth ages 16-30 that may have experienced barriers to employment and are needing on-the-job training, coaching and supports to obtain the job skills necessary to be sustainably employed. Bright Futures for Youth is offering a variety of grant-funded paid internships as part of this program. See below for openings.
FUND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

| Reports To: | Director of Development |
Internship Position Overview:
The Fund Development Assistant will provide administrative support for the Executive Leadership and Fund Development teams. Fund development activities include database management, donor correspondence and outreach efforts, supporting the grants management team, and participating in marketing communications activities to enhance the organization’s brand awareness. The internship is full-time, 40 hours per week, for 12 months and will be supervised, trained, and supported by the Director of Development.

NEO PROGRAM ASSISTANT

| Duration: | 12 Months |
| Compensation: | $16.90 – $20 per hour |
| Location: | 200 Litton Drive, Grass Valley, CA |
| Reports To: | NEO Program Manager |
The NEO Program Assistant will be trained to support the NEO Program Manager and Coordinators in implementing program activities for middle school and high school youth in the drop-in youth center as well as in outreach efforts in the community and schools. This involves engaging with diverse youth through conversations, art, music, sports, and games. They will also participate in daily opening and closing duties and ensure a safe, supportive, and enriching environment. This is a part-time, non-exempt position supervised by the NEO Program Manager.
