Your financial support keeps Bright Futures for Youth going, and helping more than 200 youth every week in our year-round program. Your donations make a difference, helping a sixth-grader during a difficult period, a teenager looking for a safe place to connect with others or a young adult experiencing homelessness.

Your dollars are an investment today that generates a life-changing payoff tomorrow.

You can donate online here, or mail a check to Bright Futures for Youth, 200 Litton Drive, Suite 308, Grass Valley, CA 95945. To donate over the phone call 530.265.4311. Please ask for Cheryl Rubin.

There are many other ways of supporting Bright Futures for Youth. Here are just a few ways, with some information about the effort.

A legacy gift is a creative way for you to pursue your charitable and financial goals, while helping Bright Futures for Youth and our life-changing programs. A brief overview of legacy gifts (please consult a tax professional for more details):

Bequest: Through a simple provision in your Will or Trust, you may specify a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate be donated to Bright Futures for Youth.

Life insurance policy: You can name Bright Futures for Youth as a partial or sole beneficiary or, under certain circumstances, you may be able to gift the policy itself.

Retirement plan, such as a 401(k) or an IRA: Naming Bright Futures for Youth as a sole or partial beneficiary of your retirement plan can be a valuable tax-deduction strategy.

If you’ve already named Bright Futures for Youth (or The Friendship Club and/or NEO) in your estate plans, please let us know.

Bright Futures for Youth greatly appreciates your donation of stock. You also could enjoy some tax benefits. And, in some cases, it may be more beneficial for a cash donation rather than stock. Of course, always consult a tax professional for the latest information and to determine the best way to donate for you.

If you would like to donate stock, contact Cheryl Rubin to learn more about this simple process — cherylr@bffyouth.org or 530-265-4311 ext. 206.
