Free Food Giveaway Program

Bright Futures for Youth is looking for volunteers for its Free Food Bag Giveaway Project – a new effort to help meet the critical need of food for some youth and their families in BFFY.

About three of every five (60%) children depend on the school lunch program for at least one of their meals every weekday– a huge increase from only 5% in 1995.

The Free Food Giveaway Project will help meet the need for other meals and over the weekends.

But we can’t do this alone, we need your help. Any time you can donate – even a few free moments after the workday, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Volunteers will help hand out the free food bags while promoting a healthy lifestyle and nutrition.

Entry-level positions do not require a background check.

Many thanks to Interfaith Food Ministry for the donations that make this project possible.
