Please support the fourth annual Heart of Gold Gravel Ride on October 5 and help raise much-needed funding for teen mental wellness services in Nevada County.
Teens are faced with so many challenges, from anxiety and depression to bullying and loneliness. There are great programs and services to support children and young adults in Nevada County, and that is the goal of the Heart of Gold Gravel ride.
Whether you are competing, supporting a rider or just enjoying a good time, you can enter a raffle for a Blackbirds Bolton Area 13 e-bike. Thanks to Area 13 for donating the Blackbirds Bolton.
And if snow-covered mountains and trails are your thing, enter a raffle for a season pass to Sugar Bowl Resort at Donner Summit.
The winners will be announced at the Heart of Gold Festival at the Rood Center, 950 Maidu Avenue in Nevada City. (You do not need to be present to win).
The festival will feature food, live music by youth bands and vendor booths. You can help raise money for teen mental wellness services in Nevada County. And maybe even take home a great-looking and top-performing bike or enjoy the slopes at Sugar Bowl.
The Heart of Gold offers two courses with one goal – helping the community. Let’s pedal forward, together.
