Week 1: June 20-June 24

Everything’s an adventure during the first week of camp. Explore the campus, get to know campmates, and enjoy games and scavenger hunts as we set off on the adventure of summer camp!

Week 2: June 27 – July 1

Summer is the perfect time to blow off a little STEAM, both figuratively and literally. This week will be a combination of wellness practices and all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Spend time practicing yoga and mindfulness. Then, transition to pop rock science, build a rocket and see who builds the best catapults. It’s sure to be a blast!

Week 3: July 6 – July 8

Techies and Makers was so much fun last year that we decided to bring it back. The future is the limit this week. Build anything you can imagine using lots of different materials while also exploring technology.

Week 4: July 11 – July 15

Who says you can’t celebrate Halloween in July? Every day this week will be a different holiday Christmas, Holi, Valentine’s Day, Diwali and Halloween.

Enjoy your favorite holiday traditions all week long, while also learning about the many other holidays that take place around the world.

Week 5: July 18 – July 22

Do you like competition? From building to art, this week will be a ton of fun as we push ourselves to be our best and see who has the most fun. The classroom with the most points by lunchtime on Friday will choose the treat we all celebrate with that afternoon.

Week 6: July 25 – July 29

We can’t imagine saying goodbye. This week, we will use our imagination in every way we can. We will make up characters, stories, games – you name it. We will imagine what next summer can look like and reflect on our favorite times during the last six weeks. We will come up with creative ways we can continue the friendships we’ve made during the summer. And we’ll celebrate the summer with a Lazy Dog Dance Party on Friday.

This camp is offered in partnership with Nevada County Health and Human Services
